Results of the Hub Music & Vending sponsored 2008 Aberdeen Open 8-Ball Pool Tournament held at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel earlier this month.  We had 167 singles participants in 5 divisions, 41 teams consisting of 174 players in 2 divisions, and 80 scotch doubles players, for a grand total of 421 participants in the three different tournament formats with many local players and players from surrounding areas including multiple states.  Thanks for the note in the sports section prior to the tournament.  We would always welcome a reporter and/or photographer at our future tournaments.  Feel free to print whatever you may have room for.

Please note the “Sonny Archambeau Memorial” Junior Tournament.  Sonny was a long-time Aberdeen pool player who passed away (at a pool tournament) in 2007.
